While creating an auction, a variant selection checkbox allows you to enable variant choice for the product. If the product includes variants (e.g., size, color, style) and the checkbox is selected, the winning bidder will be able to select their preferred variant after the auction ends and before proceeding to checkout.

How it works

Step 1: Start Creating an Auction

From your app dashboard, begin setting up a new auction.

Step 2: Enable Variant Selection

During the auction setup, look for the “Variant Selection” checkbox.
If your product has multiple variants (e.g., sizes, colors, styles), check this box to enable the feature.

Step 3: Complete and Publish the Auction

Configure the rest of your auction details and publish it.

Step 4: Auction Runs as Normal

Buyers place bids on the product, regardless of variant options.
When the auction ends, the highest bidder is selected as the winner.

Step 5: Winner Chooses Variant

Before proceeding to checkout, the winning bidder will be prompted to choose their preferred variant from the available options (e.g., select a size or color).
